Resumen

Esta ponencia analiza dos querellas de crímenes sexuales (estupro e incesto) seguidas ante la Sala del Crimen de la Real Audiencia de México, intentando descubrir, a través de sus decisiones, si  existía un distanciamiento entre la ley escrita y la praxis judicial novohispana.

This paper analyze through two sexual law suits (rape and incest) in the Royal Audience of Mexico, to dicover, in the judge´s decisions, the difference between juridical practice and the statute law.
