Este artículo analiza el papel de la mujer rural en el sureste de Tenerife durante el periodo del segundo franquismo y comienzos de la época democrática, con la intención de dar a conocer su importancia, tanto en la esfera económica como en la sociocultural, así como en los espacios relacionados con la vida cotidiana. La principal fuente de investigación empleada metodológicamente para la realización de este trabajo ha sido la historia oral, sometida sobre una muestra representativa de mujeres participantes.
This article analyzes the role of rural women in southeastern Tenerife during the period of the second Franco and the beginning of the democratic era, intending to publicize their importance in the economic sphere and the social and cultural, as well as the spaces related to everyday life. The main source of research methodologically used to carry out this work has been the oral history, submitted on a representative sample of women participants.
