Resumen

En este trabajo pretendemos mostrar la importancia que tiene el arte rupestre como documento a la hora de reconstruir la historia de un espacio en concreto. Para ello es imprescindible hacer una lectura de los petroglifos, desde su distribución en el territorio como en sus soportes pétreos. Pensamos que el estudio en conjunto de varias estaciones nos ayuda a rescatar una serie de datos para entender de manera diacrónica la ocupación y el uso del territorio insular. En este caso, de un barranco, el del Draguillo.

In this work we pretend to show the importance of rock art as a document when it comes to reconstructing the history of a specific space. However, it is essential to read the petroglyphs both in the distribution in the territory and in their stone supports. We think that the study of several stations helps us to rescue data to understand diachronically the occupation and use, in this case, of a ravine. El Draguillo is a clear example.
