Resumen
En tiempo de pandemias, las redes sociales han sido fundamentales para mantenernos conectados con el mundo. En este aspecto, la Cultura no se ha quedado atrás. Si en todo el mundo nos encontrábamos con conciertos en directo, encuentros interactivos con periodistas, escritores o gentes de otros campos de la Cultura, los museos no se quedaron atrás. Cierto es que existen grandes museos que han mantenido un contacto con el público de forma diaria, ya sea a través de conexiones en streaming o a través de publicaciones, juegos, eventos, etc. que implica a sus visitantes en estas interacciones. Durante el confinamiento que tuvo lugar a partir de marzo, eran diarias las noticias de museos que ofrecían recorridos virtuales: de Nueva York a París, Florencia, España y muchísimos otros que acercaron la Cultura hasta nuestras casas. El hecho de que todos los días nos fuéramos encontrando con información así, diarios digitales o noticias en televisión haciéndose eco de este hecho como algo novedoso hace patente el desconocimiento que existe sobre el acceso online de los centros de cultura y, en particular, de los museos. No es, por tanto, casual que existan museos que no sólo su desconocimiento en las redes permanezcan ocultos, sino que su situación geográfica y la dificultad de acceso a ellos los mantenga en este aislamiento de forma más marcada aún. En este breve artículo pretendo dar a conocer varios de estos espacios que podemos encontrar en el entorno atlántico.
In times of pandemics, social media has been essential to keep us connected to the world. In this aspect, Culture has not been left behind. If all over the world we found live concerts, interactive meetings with journalists, writers or people from other fields of culture, museums were not far behind. It is true that there are large museums that have maintained contact with the public on a daily basis, either through streaming connections or through publications, games, events, etc. that involves your visitors in these interactions. During the confinement that took place from March, the news of museums that offered virtual tours were daily: from New York to Paris, Florence, Spain and many others that brought Culture to our homes. The fact that every day we were finding information like this, digital newspapers or television news echoing this fact as something new, makes clear the lack of knowledge that exists about the online access of the cultural centers and, in particular, of the museums. It is, therefore, not by chance that there are museums that not only remain hidden from their ignorance of the networks, but also that their geographical location and the difficulty of accessing them keep them in isolation even more markedly. In this short article I intend to present several of these spaces that we can find in the Atlantic environment.
