Resumen

Con el proceso de evangelización y conquista de Canarias ciertos conocimientos y memorias indígenas fueron denegados por la cultura hegemónica cristiana hispana, pasando a codificarse en secretos. Esta comunicación trata de ir más allá de la dualidad entre la oralidad y la escritura documental para considerar una historia encarnada, centrada y descentrada al mismo tiempo, a contrapelo de la oficialidad. Para ello propone partir de algunas «memorias involuntarias» canarias y conectarlas con secretos y formaciones culturales que se han movido por trayectorias atlánticas.

With the process of evangelization and conquest of the Canary Islands, certain knowledge and memories were denied by the hegemonic Hispanic Christian culture, thereby coding as secrets. This communication tries to go beyond the duality between orality and writing, as to consider an embodied history, centered and decentered at the same time, against the grain. In accomplishing this, it proposes a starting point from «involuntary memories» from the Canary Islands, connecting them with secrets and cultural formations that have moved along Atlantic paths
