El artículo pretende analizar a través de las fuentes visuales que contiene el Museu Nacional de Belas Artes do Rio de Janeiro la presencia de las mujeres emigrantes a través del lenguaje del vestido y la indumentaria, resaltando aquellos aspectos que ofrezcan un interés especial y que reflejen los aspectos que la documentación escrita revela a través de las fuentes visuales.

The article aims to analyze, through the visual sources contained in the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes do Rio de Janeiro, the presence of migrant women through the language of dress and clothing, highlighting those aspects that offer special interest and that reflect the aspects that the written documentation reveals through the visual sources.
