La ropa usada en Canarias en el siglo XVIII ha sido poco estudiada a lo largo de los años, aunque nos facilita mucha información sobre la vida de las personas y las relaciones con otros países. No solo es un indicativo que nos ayuda a conocer el estatus social de las personas, también es una forma de entender los gustos y modas de los territorios y la forma de adaptar ciertos tejidos o formas a sociedades muy distantes.
The clothing worn in the Canary Islands in the 18th century has been little studied over the years, although it provides us with a great deal of information about people's lives and relations with other countries. It is not only an indicator that helps us to know the social status of the people, it is also a way of understanding the tastes and fashions of the territories and the way in which certain fabrics or shapes were adapted to very distant societies.
