Resumen

Este artículo se presenta como una introducción a un estudio exhaustivo que se encuentra actualmente en curso sobre la transmisión de la información del mirlado de los aborígenes canarios. Desde el siglo XV hasta principios del siglo XIX más de una veintena de autores han mostrado su curiosidad por esta práctica funeraria aborigen. El interés de nuestra investigación radica en conocer las relaciones entre los diferentes textos a través del método de la crítica textual. Con este propósito presentaré en esta comunicación los objetivos, fuentes, metodología y primeras conclusiones de nuestro trabajo.

This article expects to be an introduction to an exhaustive study which I develop nowadays about the transmission of the information of the mirlado of the Canarian aborigines. Since the 15th century to the beginning of the 19th century more than twenty authors have shown their curiosity about this funerary aboriginal practice. The interest of our research lies in distinguishing the relationship of the different texts using the method of the textual criticism. In this communication I will present with this purpose the objectives, methodology and firsts conclusions of our work.
