Este trabajo analiza reformas efectuadas en laparroquia de Santa María de Guía durante el tránsitode los siglos XVIII y XIX, insistiendo en la importanciadel culto eucarístico como aliciente de su proyección yde la reorganización espacial y ornamental a que sesometió el presbiterio con nuevo retablo, mesa de altary tabernáculo exento.
In this paper we analyze the planned reforms in theparish of Santa María de Guía during transit of theeighteenth and nineteenth centuries, stressing theimportance of Eucharistic component andencouragement of its projection and spatialreorganization and ornamental was subjected topresbytery with new altarpiece, altar table andtabernacle.
