Se pretende acercar y dar a conocer la gestión del patrimonio histórico y cultural que desde hace 20 años viene desarrollando el Ayuntamiento de Arucas, a través de la Concejalía de Patrimonio Histórico. Esta gestión se caracteriza por abarcar desde el patrimonio paleontológico, arqueológico, etnográfico e histórico-artístico, hasta el documental, audiovisual e intangible, desde diversas perspectivas y ámbitos de actuación, como son la conservación, prevención, reglamentación e integración. Se propone un análisis del modelo aplicado desde ópticas e ideologías políticas diversas, en la Administración Pública, de ámbito Local, partiendo del ejemplo desarrollado por el Ayuntamiento de Arucas, que posee una de las pocas unidades administrativas en las Islas Canarias, dedicada a la gestión patrimonial. Asimismo, se reflexionará sobre cómo afectaría la aprobación de la Ley de modificación de la Ley territorial 4/1999, de 15 de marzo, de Patrimonio Histórico de Canarias, a las competencias de los Ayuntamientos en esta materia.
It aims to bring and publicize the management of historical and cultural heritage which for 20 years has been developing Arucas City Council, through the Department of Heritage. This management features range from the art historical paleontological, archaeological, ethnographic and heritage to the documentary, audiovisual and intangible, from different perspectives and areas of action, such as conservation, prevention, regulation and integration. Analysis model applied from optical and diverse political ideologies, in Public Administration, Local area, based on the example developed by the City of Arucas, which has one of the few administrative units in the Canary Islands, dedicated to the management is proposed heritage. It will also reflect on how it would affect the adoption of the Law amending the territorial Law 4/1999 of March 15, Historical Heritage of the Canaries, the powers of the municipalities in this area.
