La autoría a Peter Casteels I del lienzo de la Bacanal del Museo de La Habana, atribuido a Jacob Jordaens, es el motivo de este artículo. Es el primero dedicado a este pintor flamenco, prácticamente ignorado. Esto da opción a fijar su personalidad y añadir nuevas obras, también con equívoca atribución, a un futuro catálogo.
