El tríptico de la iglesia de san Juan Bautista de Telde atribuido hasta ahora a Michiel Coxcie se restituye a Lambert Lombard, importante pintor de Lieja. Esta nueva autoría está basada en el análisis estilístico y técnico, con el apoyo comparativo en obras originales del pintor. Reune la bibliografía completa de la crítica y la documentación testamentaria del procer canario, don Cristóbal García del Castillo.Se registra la historia externa del tríptico, la historia crítica a su autoría, el estilo la restauración y la irradiación de la obra de Lambert Lombard en Europa con la vía inédita a Las Palmas de Gran Canaria desde la ciudad de Lieja.
The Triptych of the Church of St. John the Baptist (Telde) until now attributed to Michiel Coxcie is returned to Lambert Lombard, important painter of Liege. This authorship is based on stylistic and technical analysis, comparative to original works of the painter. Here is collected the complete bibliography of criticism and probate documentation of the canary procer, Don Cristóbal García del Castillo. This study adds the external history of triptych, critical history to its authorship, style and restoration. The irradiation of the work of Lambert Lombard in Europe is therefore extended with the ignored way towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from the city of Liege, with The Adoration of the Shepherds Triptych in the church of San Juan Bautista in Telde returned to Lambert Lombard, painter of the Prince Bishop of Liege Érard de la Marck.
