Resumen

Este ensayo trata de demostrar como en La razón de la sinrazón Galdós realiza una sátira sociopolítica del agotamiento del sistema parlamentario bipartidista durante la crisis de la Restauración utilizando el esoterismo, la demonología y la doctrina teológica de la apocatástasis. De ese modo trataré de revelar la doble naturaleza de esta obra, por una parte satírica, relacionada con la corrupción política, el caciquismo y el sistema clientelista, y por otra dotada de una profunda carga metafísica y esotérica. Asimismo señalaré la estrecha relación que guarda con El caballero encantado. / This essay attempts to prove that in La razón de la sinrazón Galdós carries out a sociopolitical satire of the exhaustion of the two party parliamentary system during the Restoration Crisis using esoterism, demonology and the theological doctrine of the apocatastasis. In this way I will try to reveal the double nature of this work, on the one hand satirical, related to political corruption, the caciquism and the clientelist system, and on the other endowed with a deep metaphysical and esoteric charge. I will also point out its close relationship with El caballero encantado.
