Resumen

Se realiza una revisión sobre la labor periodística de Galdós como proceso de aprendizaje vital y profesional, que le ayudará a conocer la realidad presente y a conectar con los lectores. Las redacciones serán un núcleo de amistades y experiencias, que incidirán en el desarrollo de Galdós como intelectual comprometido. Reconoce en la prensa un poder formativo para el que la ejerce y para el que la recibe, así como para la posteridad, en tanto que constituye una fuente documental, que él mismo utilizó para sus creaciones. Sus aportaciones a la prensa deben estudiarse en profundidad, de forma cronológica y contrastiva con sus otros textos, para llegar a una cosmovisión global de su obra, pues nos dan luz sobre su evolución creativa e ideológica y nos permiten desgranar el universo galdosiano tan rico, complejo y lleno de aristas que se entrecruzan y que difícilmente se entienden por separado. / A review of Galdós's journalistic work is carried out as a vital and professional learning process, which will help him to know the present reality and to connect with readers. The newsrooms will be a core of friendships and experiences, which will influence the development of Galdós as a committed intellectual. He recognizes in the press a formative power for those who exercise it and for those who receive it, as well as for posterity, as it constitutes a documentary source, which he himself used for his creations. His contributions to the press must be studied in depth, chronologically and contrastively with his other texts, to arrive at a global worldview of his work, since they shed light on his creative and ideological evolution and allow us to unravel the rich Galdosian universe, complex and full of edges that intersect and that are difficult to understand separately.
