POR EL CAMINO DE GALDÓS / BY THE WAY OF GALDÓS

Respondiendo a su título, este trabajo incide críticamente en los caminos de la novela contemporánea. Cuestiona, ejemplificando, la fuerza de una diferenciación clara entre estéticas como ‘novela realista’ o ‘novela fantástica’, y afianza la concomitancia entre creadores de muy distinto estilo que se proponen «escribir la historia privada de su nación» (como lo hizo Galdós). Por fin, destaca la escritura de muchos escritores de hoy cuyas obras siguen el camino galdosiano, reconociéndolo; y se detiene en la cercanía entre Pérez Galdós y aspectos o títulos de la creación de de Mario Vargas Llosa.
Answering its title, this work commit in further ways in to the contemporary novel. It questions a strong and clear difference between ‘realistic novel’ or ‘fantastic novel’, and supports the difference between creators of very different styles that want to «write his own-nation history» (like Galdós did). Finally, stands out the writing of many current writers whose works follow the way of Galdós, recognize them; and stops in the proximity between Pérez Galdós and some titles of the Mario Vargas creation.
