Resumen

Este trabajo maneja teorías de traducción modernas para aplicarlas a las traducciones francesa y españolas de los Papers de Dickens, y estudia y analiza con detalle la realizada por Pérez Galdós para reiterar la tesis de su procedencia clara de un original francés. En sus conclusiones señala el nivel de extranjerización de cada una de ellas y establece la razón de sus diferencias en la de los públicos a quienes iban dirigidas y el interés o sintonía del traductor hacia el texto.

This work manages modern translation theories for applying them to French and Spanish translations of Dickens's Papers, and studies and analyzes in detail what Pérez Galdós wrote to reiterate the thesis of his clear French origin. In his conclusions notes the foreignization of each of them and establishes the reason for their differences in the audiences to whom they were addressed and the interest or tuning of the translator to the text.
