Resumen

Galdós nunca visitó la República Argentina, a pesar de que recibió numerosas invitaciones, tanto de instituciones como de amigos. Sin embargo, podemos afirmar que conocía el país y tenía una visión muy positiva del mismo.

Este trabajo desea mostrar la vinculación y el conocimiento de don Benito Pérez Galdós con la República Argentina a través de su obra, sus lecturas, sus experiencias, sus amistades.

Galdós never visited the Argentinean Republic, while he received numerous invitations, both institutions and friends. However, we can say that he knew the country and had a very positive view of it. This work wants to show the bonding and knowledge of Mr. Benito Pérez Galdós with the Argentinean Republic through his work, his readings, his experiences, his friendships.
